Post breakfast, drive to Tabo via Nako. Today, we will be continuing our journey to other places of Spiti Valley, namely Tabo, Pin Valley, and Dhankar.
Dhankar, the former capital of the Spiti Valley, offers panoramic views of the valley. It stands perched above the confluence of the Spiti and Pin River.
Pin Valley: Mud, one of the villages in Pin Valley of Spiti. Enjoy the changing landscapes and the cool breeze. After reaching Mud, spend some time exploring the place and interacting with the local people.
Dinner and overnight stay at Kaza.
After Breakfast, we shall leave for Hikkim for a visit to the world’s highest post office in the world. After sending out a postcard, we will be driving to Langza, a village that is home to the ancient Lang Temple which is estimated to be around 1000 years old. Komik: Boasting of being the world’s highest village connected with motorable roads, the Komik is a quaint, idyllic hamlet ideal for a rejuvenating vacation away from metropolitan city life Dinner and overnight stay at Kaza.
After breakfast proceed towards the world-famous Key Monastery nestled between the mountains in a bowl-shaped valley. We will then go farther up the valley to the picturesque village of Kibber to treasure the expanses of beautiful landscapes and the immeasurable beauty of the snow-tipped mountains. Also drive to the Chicham Bridge, Asia’s highest suspended bridge that hangs in the air dramatically atop a 1000 feet deep gorge. Later in the evening, we will drive back to Kaza to spend the night at the Mudhouse.
Sangla is small town in the north east Himachal Pradesh, located on the banks of Baspa River. The valley is referred by both names—Sangla Valley as well as Baspa Valley. Dinner and overnight stay in Sangla.
Chitkul will be a never-forget journey. Famously known as the last inhabited village on the Indo-Tibet Border, Chitkul is also the most beautiful village of the striking Baspa Valley in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. After sightseeing of Chitkul, you will be dropped back at Shimla. Stay is not included in Shimla
