Bir Billing Tour
The beautiful Bir Billing Valley is one of the most famous places in Himachal Pradesh and is known internationally. Paragliding opportunities are recognized worldwide and Bir Billing hosts several competitions, attracting experienced participants from all over the world. In addition to paragliding, the area also offers many adventure activities such as trekking and camping. A beautiful destination surrounded by tea plantations and mountains at a distance of 14 km from each other, Bir and Billings are unique places in the world. The heart of those who seek adventure.
At a height of 2290 m, Billing makes for the perfect place to launch your paragliding journey. The landing point for the same is at Bir, at a height of 1400 m. While international competitions and events take place regularly, the flying season is from September to October, extending to parts of November. The rest of the year is a great time for tourists to explore the area.
Bir is known for its Tibetan Colony and Buddhist Monasteries. The Tibetan colony is a refugee settlement located on the southwest edge of Bir. Following the exile of the Dalai Lama and other Tibetans from Tibet, the colony came into existence in the 1960s. There are many monasteries here that represent the Nyingma, Kagyu, and Sakya traditions. The Chokling Monastery at Bir has a large stupa and an impressive statue of Padmasambhava. The Palpung Sherab Ling Monastery at Bhattu, west of Bir, offers periodic courses in Buddhist meditation and philosophy. The place also has a Tibetan Handicraft Centre and a Deer Park Institute.

Day 1: Pickup from Delhi.

Day 1 Delhi to Bir | Travel to the Paragliding Capital of India
You will be greeted by a representative at the pre-decided spot in Delhi who will help you get transferred to Bir.
The overnight journey takes you through some of the most scenic views as you travel to the majestic Himalayas to reach Bir the next morning.
Day 2 Arrival at Bir Billing | Local Sightseeing
- You will reach Bir in the morning and transfered to your campsite in Bir.
- Take some rest at the campsite and then we will proceed with local sightseeings around.
- Visit the Chokling Monastery and Sherab Ling Monastery as you explore the beautiful town.
- Head to Bir Local market for some shopping and can also try out the local restaurants/cafes for some Tibetan cuisine.
- You can take a bicycle /scooty on rent and explore the monasteries around.
- Have fun with fellow travelers as you have dinner alongside a bonfire.
- Overnight stay in the camps under the sky studded with stars in Billing.
Day 3 Paragliding at Bir-Billing , Waterfall Trek and Departure
- Wake up to a splendid sunrise and have a healthy breakfast at the camp.
- You will then embark on your way to the take-off point for the paragliding adventure)( if you had booked paragliding with us the cost is 3000 pp ).
- Perched at an altitude of 2400 m, Bir Billing is the perfect place to enjoy paragliding in India.
- Enjoy the roaring winds as you glide high in the sky taking in stunning vistas all around you.
- Once you land you can spend the rest of the day at your leisure and can explore the local landmarks like stupas and monasteries.
- You can also choose to go mountain biking through the trails that will take you through green valleys and gurgling streams.
In the evening you will embark on your overnight journey back toward Delhi
